‘Lately’ is the most recent cut from Ryan Doyle, who is on an impressive streak of world-class disco-house / dance-pop releases. It’s a groovy track that brings together an infectious bassline with bouncy keys and a funky guitar; the end result is energetic and enticing, paired with ethereal pop vocals. His desire to craft something that is nothing more than good vibes and an uplifting sonic world is reflected in his own description of the track: “Lately is just fun,” he says. “It all happened very quickly when making the song and it's been one that I've sat on for a little while now, so to see it coming out is very exciting!
